On September 15th, Swedish country pop singer and pianist Jessica Falk will release the EP "SURVIVORS". The music and lyrics have been developing over a few years in Nashville, where the songs were written and recorded. Together with Nashville's songwriter and music elite, the EP was created at “Addiction Studios” which is often the recording home for Carry Underwood, Keith Urban, Journey and many other stars. Producer and co-songwriter is Scott Baggett, known for having worked with Dolly Parton, Alison Krauss, Hank Williams Jr among many others in the country and rock fields. ” It is always such a pleasure to work with Jessica! So good at everything she does in music. Singing, playing, writing and performing- this is what she was born to do.

Everyone that knows her here in Nashville loves her and I am sure it is that way everywhere she goes. This new recording project is her best yet.” says producer Scott Baggett Pressrelease Jessica Falk Since 2010 Jessica has become a part of the songwriting community in Nashville. Together with her now close friends Bobby Wood, Vip Vipperman as well as with producer Baggett, Jessica has written these songs about the love of life and survival. This comes after a few tough years for Jessica where she survived severe illness and personal tragedies.

Jessica was originally invited to write and record by legendary musician Charlie McCoy. McCoy has been known as a “musician’s musician”. From Roy Orbison to Bob Dylan to Johnny Cash, the list of hits is too long to even try to name. In these first sessions she met pianist and songwriter Bobby Wood who became her mentor as well as good friend. Wood has had an unbelievable career stretching back to the late 60’s working with icons Elvis Presley, Dusty Springfield, Neil Diamond and playing on hundreds of hit songs. To many,

Wood is best known for being Garth Brooks pianist on all his recordings since 1988. Jessica and Bobby have written several songs over the years. On the EP, they have written the ballad "You re The One" together. The first single from the EP, "I Don't Know Why", was released on June 1 and has been added in 15 countries and has been received positively for its message of forgiveness and moving on with life after hard times. It was written together with Vip Vipperman (Emmylou Harris, LeAnn Rimes, Reba McEntire and others). Jessica says this about the EP - "I hope with my new music, to be able to inspire others to make the most of life, enjoying all that is possible.

Daring to reach for inner dreams and regret nothing”. As Jessica’s lyric says,” We are all survivors in this life" The music video for "SURVIVORS" will also be released on September 15.
